Processor: As per an internal document leak discovered by MSPoweruser.com, the Reno 12 could be powered by a yet-to-be-revealed MediaTek MTK 24M chip and the Reno 12 Pro could be wielding a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC.

Meanwhile, DigitalChatStation had tipped recently that the Reno 12 series could bring Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chips. OPPO could be planning different variants for different markets.

Cameras: Both phones could be sporting a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP third camera, supposedly an ultrawide clicker. The leak doesn’t disclose anything about an improved periscope zoom lens though as the DCS tip had suggested.

Also, both phones could have a 50MP front camera with autofocus support. Both phones are expected to sport a 50-megapixel telephoto camera on the back, enabling 2x optical zoom for portrait shots. Furthermore, both models are rumored to house 5000 mAh of battery and support 80W fast charging.

Display and design: The Reno 12 series could flaunt a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. As for design, they could have a curved glass back and IP65 dust and water resistance rating. According to the rumors, the Reno 12’s screen could feature a 1080p resolution, while the Pro variant might offer a 1.5K resolution. Additionally, the Reno 12 series might feature a plastic frame and a glass back and are rumored to feature screens that have micro curvature on all four sides equally.
