Honor 200 Pro: Leading smartphone brand Honor is working on its two new smartphones – Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. It is being said that the company can launch both these phones by the end of this month (May).
The brand has not announced any official launch date yet. Meanwhile, details of the display and camera specs of the top Honor 200 Pro model have been leaked. This leak has come from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS). So let us know what something special is going to be available in Honor 200 Pro.
Honor 200 Pro Processor
- As per a Weibo user, the Honor 200 could ship with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and the Honor 200 Pro could wield a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- It is also claimed that the rear camera island could look “greatly changed” on the Honor 200 series. The actual camera setup could support a primary camera with variable aperture and OIS and a telephoto camera.
- Another tipster on Weibo has said the Honor 200 series could feature dual selfie cameras (placed in a pill-shaped notch), and a quad-curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution.
Honor 200 Pro Display and Camera
According to the leak, the Honor 200 Pro will have a “1.5K” resolution screen and a single punch-hole cutout. Additionally, it hints at a “slightly curved” design for the display, so the phone will likely have an edge curve similar to the Honor 100 Pro.
As far as the camera is concerned, the leak suggests that it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The leak also mentions a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.
Furthermore, according to reports the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, Qualcomm’s current flagship SoC. The vanilla Honor 200 model, on the other hand, has the same core architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Therefore, we can expect it to provide the same level of performance as the Honor 200 Pro model.
